What CG Score means
CG Score compares the CGPropz projection with the posted line. The method stated on the site is projection divided by the line, multiplied by 50. A score of 50 means the projection equals the line. It is not a probability, and a higher score is not a claim that the prop hits more often. Read how CG Score works for the full explanation, including what the score does not tell you.
WNBA Finals Player Props: Valkyries vs Dream
The 2026 WNBA Finals pairs the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream, and the league will crown a first-time champion either way. This page is the CGPropz hub for the series. It has the game schedule, the free top 3 player props from the CGPropz board for each game, and the context you need to read those numbers in a short playoff series.
The free top 3 for each game is posted here once the board for that game is built. The full board, with every graded prop for both teams, is part of All-Access.

How the teams got here
- Golden State Valkyries (No. 2 seed): swept the defending champion Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals, closing the series with an overtime win in Las Vegas on Oct 9. The Valkyries are in their second season and are the fastest expansion team in league history to reach the Finals.
- Atlanta Dream (No. 4 seed): swept the New York Liberty in the semifinals. This is Atlanta's first Finals trip since 2013.
- Neither franchise has won a WNBA title.
- Both semifinals ended early, so both teams have a week off before Game 1.

How to read the board: CG Score and hit rates
CG Score shows how far the CGPropz projection sits from the posted line. On a score of 50, the projection and the line are equal, as long as the line is at or above that stat's minimum (see below). Above 50, the projection is over the line; below 50, it's under. The further from 50, the bigger the gap between the model and the line. It is a measure of that gap, not a probability that the prop hits. On the WNBA board, it's the projection divided by the larger of the prop's own line or a minimum line for that stat, times 50. The minimums keep very low lines from producing extreme scores; for example, the minimum is 4.5 for points, 3.5 for rebounds and 1.5 for assists. When a line is below its minimum, a score of 50 means the projection equals the minimum, not the line. The WNBA board shows demon and goblin lines alongside standard lines, and each is scored against its own line. The board treats a prop as an over when the projection is at or above the line. How CG Score works →
Hit rates count how often a player has cleared today's line in a recent window. The CGPropz WNBA board shows several:
- L10: the player's last ten games against today's line.
- Season: every game this season against today's line.
- H2H: games against today's opponent.
Read every hit rate alongside its sample size. "Cleared in most of the last ten" based on a few games is much weaker than the same share over a full season. H2H samples are usually the smallest of the three.
DVP (defense vs. position) ranks how the opponent has defended the player's position. It's context for the matchup, not a verdict on its own.
What changes in a Finals series
Regular-season numbers don't carry over cleanly into a seven-game series. Before you lean on any projection or hit rate, check these:
- Minutes concentrate. Coaches shorten rotations in the Finals. Starters often play more and bench players less, which moves projections for both groups. A season hit rate built on regular-season minutes may understate or overstate a player's role now.
- Rotations and matchups adjust game to game. After each game, both staffs change coverages and assignments. A player who was the focus of the defense in one game may see a different look in the next.
- Injury and rest news is the biggest swing factor. One player ruled out or limited changes usage for everyone else on that team. Check the official injury report and the late lineup news before tip-off. Lines that were posted before the news may not reflect it.
- Samples are small. By Game 3, a head-to-head sample in this series is two games. That is too few to read as a trend, and one hot or cold shooting night can swing it.
- Rest after sweeps. Both teams had a week off before Game 1. Early-series form can differ from late-semifinal form.
- Home and away. The series moves between Chase Center and Atlanta. Watch whether the board's numbers shift with the venue.
Using pick'em boards responsibly
- Set a budget before the series starts and keep to it, whatever happens in any single game.
- Re-check the line in your app before entering. Pick'em lines move as news breaks. The lines on CGPropz are the lines at the time the board was updated.
- Don't chase. A miss in Game 1 doesn't make Game 2 more likely to go your way.
- Treat every pick as uncertain. A high CG Score means a large gap between projection and line. It does not mean the prop will hit.
- Know the rules where you live. Pick'em contest eligibility varies by state, and age requirements apply.
